With RedsnOw 0.9.4 iPod 3.1.3 OS can be unlock. Jailbreak can be done with iPod 3.1.3 firmware if RedsnOw download, as it is available with the earlier post. Still some version are not compatible but Pwnage Tool still to come.
Pwnage Tool is still to come for the iPod / iPhone 3.1.3 OS but still RedsnOw latest version 0.9.4 is available with limits.
As earlier discussed, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 3G models cannot be unlock but other can be done. firmware 3.1.3 can be downloaded directly if connected with iTunes Store but guys, do make the backup before updating.

I have an Iphone 3g with 5.12 baseband. What to do to unlock it? Which version of snOwbreeze or redsnOw to use for the same???
Sorry to mention, it is a 3g 5.12 baseband, 3.1.2 version… how to unlock it please give me link for the software ill be obliged..
do not upgrade your iphone on 3.1.3 version. There is no unlocker available for 5.12 baseband. Please stick with 3.1.2

i tried using fuzzyband, it says my bootloader os 5.09 so cant downgrade. will downgrading bring my baseband down too??
